 The history of Halifax and the surrounding area is steeped in the tradition of bootlegging and rum running…well enough about the past!
After a few years of taking care of a busy store and taking good care of the customer base they cultivated, Wayne and Marie decided to spend more time with their grandchildren and get back to the basics of fishing lobster. As new owners, we still want to focus on the top quality lobster that made the Eddy's famous as well as providing our customers with a selection of the freshest seafood available. |

Wayne Eddy, a local lobster fisherman and his wife, Marie, started Wayne's World Lobster in a fishing shed 7 years ago. They saw an opportunity for a retail business in the tourist area of Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage during a lull in the ground fishery.
